A powerful collaboration

Partnering for progress

The University Global Partnership Network (UGPN) sets out to create a foundation for international collaboration enabling academics and students from some of the world’s top universities to work together on issues of global importance.

UGPN Research & Collaboration

The research fund has been instrumental in catalysing researcher interactions across the UGPN and has funded 87 projects including 27 trilateral and 7 quadrilateral projects representing an investment in excess of US$2 million.

A Global Centre for Clean Air Research

Researchers developed a methodology for integration of local urban scale pollution data into global/regional scale models of pollution hotspots, health impacts, low-cost pollution sensors and human exposure.

Resilience and diversity in early childhood development

Key researchers across the UGPN network teamed up to develop and co-ordinate studies on early childhood development with the specific aim to build the foundation for a quadrilateral cohort study in due course.

Genes and Behaviour: circadian rhythmicity and sleep

This project brought together scientists across the UGPN network with interests in different sub-disciplines related to genes and behaviour to exchange experience, insights, and experimental tools.

Flexible Functional Nano-Carbon Electrodes for Energy Devices

Investigators from three UGPN partner universities are working together to discover new sources of energy for wearable applications and devices.

Our Partners

The UGPN facilitates the meeting of minds of international academics who collaborate on research, learning and teaching; and whose shared research expertise enables innovative solutions to issues of global importance.
