UGPN Conference held at North Carolina State University, US, March 2015

The eighth meeting of the UGPN took place at the end of March, hosted by North Carolina State University, in their new state of the art James B. Hunt JR. Library. The programme focused on sustainable funding, with an overview of successful projects funded by the UGPN Research Collaborative Fund and external funding sources. The founding UGPN members were pleased to invite the University of Wollongong to attend the event and were joined by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Professor Judy Raper, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Eeva Leinonen, as well as colleagues from the Innovative Materials Institute and the Department of Mathematics. The UGPN Executive Committee were delighted to announce a move to confirm the University of Wollongong as the fourth member of the UGPN, subject to the usual formalities and ratifications.
